Pleasanton Choir Draws Cheers in Performance for Pope. Joseph Hébert, director of music ministry for the Catholic Community of Pleasanton, planned for more than a year for his musicians’ moment before Pope Benedict XVI. When “Catholic Community of Pleasanton, Diocese of Oakland” was called by the announcer, Hébert leapt into action.
